NORCO, Calif. (KABC) -- dramatic surveillance video shows a Norco liquor store owner using his shotgun to shoot a would-be robber armed with a rifle.
The armed suspect bursts into the business, prompting the owner to fire a single shot from his firearm.
Outside cameras captured the suspect frantically screaming, "My arm was shot off by him! My arm was shot off by him!"
Multiple suspects then flee in a dark-colored SUV, almost leaving a person behind, according to the video.
Authorities say the incident occurred around 2:47 a.m. Sunday at Norco Market & Liquor in the 800 block of Sixth Street. According to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, four suspects armed with long guns and wearing facial coverings were involved in the attempted robbery.
